The Nature Trust has completed its $7 million fundraising campaign to secure the funds necessary to protect the 100 Wild Islands. The $7 million raised will protect well over $14 million in land, thanks to the leveraged protection of the Crown islands and the donation of lands made by island owners.
To date 85% of the islands have been secured, with more in progress.
But, with the land secured our work in the 100 Wild Islands is just beginning. Now, we must care for the islands and ensure they remain wild, forever.
